Chris has a passion for technology and data and how the combination of the two can make a difference within the world… GSK is perfect for this. Over the last decade with GSK, Chris has worked across a number of platforms across R&D with accountabilities including delivering the Chemistry Desktop tool suite, the delivery of Machine Learning platforms, starting a new security ecosystem around centralised policy-based Computational Governance to more intelligently govern data access and use, and finally brought that all together to lead Data Operations for a new cloud Data Platform for Research, called the Onyx Research Data Platform. Currently, his focus is building a high performing team of DevOps & Data Engineers to enable Data within R&D as well as providing technical leadership for externalisation and collaboration platforms and their integration into GSK’s wider ecosystem.

Bhanu is a distinguished leader in the Data and AI space, with over two decades of experience transforming how global organizations leverage data to drive strategic outcomes. She is a visionary leader with a sharp strategic mind and a passion for driving organizational success. She excels in decision-making, innovation, and influence, inspiring teams with clear direction and adaptability in an ever-changing business landscape. With strong business acumen and operational expertise, Bhanu translates ideas into action, ensuring sustainable growth and high-impact outcomes. A confident and resilient leader, she embraces change, fosters collaboration, and drives excellence at every turn.
Bhanu currently serves as the Head of Data Architecture – Global Functions at GSK. Since May 2022, she has been leading enterprise-wide efforts to shape and execute data strategy, develop scalable architectures using cutting-edge technologies, and enable advanced analytics across global functions. She is heading Data Architecture of the AI/ML, GenAI-driven CODE Orange (CO) platform within Global Functions, which delivers a unified, trusted, reusable, and compliant data lifecycle to enable easy access to clean, connected enterprise data. Under her leadership, impactful solutions have been delivered that reduce operational costs, enhance efficiency, and accelerate innovation across the organization.
