Goodpoint
Goodpoint is an impact hacking tool for organizations seeking to improve the impact they’re having on cause/advocacy issues. Goodpoint stops important viewpoints from getting fragmented into multiple messages (or posts) and decaying in a short time. This is the biggest problem facing impact organizations, because it drastically dilutes the support they have and their ability to coordinate important actions.
Goodpoint “digitizes” arguments, making viewpoints transferable to an unlimited audience. This solves the fragmentation and decay problem by causing people who generally agree on the same issue to funnel their consensus into a single argument. Additionally, Goodpoint’s content architecture allows posts to endure indefinitely. The result is a multiplication of the impact people can make on humankind’s biggest problems, such as climate change, environmental protection, reproductive rights, gun safety, and so on.
Goodpoint was founded by John Malik, a hedge fund management executive. To develop Goodpoint, Mr. Malik assembled an international team of respected scientists in the fields of cognitive science, philosophy, and linguistics to create an argument graph and social graph combination that is easy to use. Mr. Malik self-funded the platform’s research, development, and prototype testing and received his first U.S. patent for the technology in 2022, with several other patents pending.
