Dame Vivian Hunt is the Chief Innovation Officer at UnitedHealth Group (UHG). She works with their technology, growth and strategy teams to pursue new technologies, improve process design, interpret data, apply insights and improve the productivity of their systems. Before joining UHG, Dame Vivian served as a Senior Partner for McKinsey & Company, providing strategic advice in the private, public and third sectors. She also served as McKinsey's Managing Partner for the UK and Ireland from 2013-2020. Dame Vivian is the Chair of Teach First and the Black Equity Organisation; she sits on the Harvard Board of Overseers, is a trustee of The British Museum, and sits on the governing board of the Southbank Centre. She was named 'The most influential black woman in Britain' by the Powerlist Foundation, and the Financial Times identified her as one of the 30 most influential people in the City of London. In 2018, she was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to the economy and women in business.
