Tyler has spent the last decade building AI systems for British intelligence agencies and defence companies. His career spans roles at MI5, MI6, GCHQ and FVEYs, where he led operations and developed technology for international crises. He later built software for defence company, Roke, and acted as a Policy Advisor to Whitehall on AI in national security and intelligence. In 2025, he founded Overmind after recognising that autonomous AI faces the same fundamental security risks he encountered in the intelligence sector: requiring real-time detection, behavioural analysis and zero-tolerance for failure. Overmind's infrastructure now protects AI agents for regulated enterprises that can't afford to get security wrong.
