Tushar Aggarwal is the founder and CEO of Stashfin, a private equity backed fintech platform based out of Singapore and New Delhi. Tushar founded Stashfin to address the gap in the consumer lending market. In India, credit card adoption is less than 3%, owing to limited credit history, low acceptance by merchants, and higher pricing for long-term credit. Traditional financial institutions have been unable to tap into these segments owing to higher commitment requirements from customers. Stashfin caters to these segments by offering a credit card-like solution over UPI.

With a focus on delivering transparent financial services leveraging machine learning and analytics, Stashfin has rapidly grown and achieved remarkable milestones. To date, the company has disbursed more than a billion dollars and serves a customer base of three million individuals. The company has raised more than $750 million across debt and equity, and is recognized as one of the fastest growing and profitable fintech platforms. Notable stakeholders of Stashfin include Henry Kravis (founder and Chairman of KKR), Tencent Holdings, Uncorrelated Ventures, Renaud Laplanche (founder and CEO of Upgrade) and Koh Boon Hwee (Chairman of Altara Ventures). 

Prior to Stashfin, Tushar was an Executive Director at Everstone Capital, a private equity firm managing over $4 billion in assets headquartered in Singapore, where he led the firm's investments in Northern India across retail and financial services. His prior board affiliations include Ritu Kumar, Sohanlal Commodities Management and Transpole Logistics. Prior to Everstone, Tushar was a private equity investor with General Atlantic, a private equity firm managing over $30 billion is assets based out of New York investing in high growth technology enabled enterprises. Prior to General Atlantic, Tushar was an investment banker in the mergers and acquisitions team of Lehman Brothers based out of New York. 
Tushar started his career with Goldman Sachs in New York. He holds a BE in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University, where he graduated Magna cum Laude. Tushar holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the CFA charter. Tushar is a fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Young Presidents' Organization. 

Tushar is an inventor and has been awarded a patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is a Tez X speaker and a recognized ‘fintech' thought leader. He is a frequent columnist with some of the global business leading publications and is recognized as the top 30 open banking influencers. Tushar is an adventurist and tends to enjoy all things moving; having driven trains, buses, trucks, and flown planes. Tushar is a private pilot and enjoys brewing beer.
