Theo is a Principal in Nauta's London office. Nauta is a pan-European venture capital firm investing in early-stage B2B software companies with offices in London and Barcelona. With over half a billion assets under management and a team of 24 people, Nauta is one of Europe’s largest B2B focused VCs and has led investments in more than 80 companies.

Theo's work spreads across the entire investment process from thematic research and meeting founders through to representing the fund on portfolio company boards (currently six portfolio companies). The businesses he works with most closely currently are Zelt, Spotted Zebra, Happy Signals, Techspert and AppFollow. In terms of new investment, he is currently passionate about investing in Generative AI used in B2B workflows and covers Fintech, HR tech and enterprise software.

Prior to Nauta, Theo worked in a number of startups (incl. Loop Horizon and SimPrints), Venture Capital (Molten Ventures), Strategy and M&A consulting (L.E.K. consulting, including work with the company’s Data & Analytics team building and using internal technical products) and founding a micro-business. He holds a Natural Sciences degree from the University of Cambridge.
