Tamar Gomez
Prior to founding Ankar, Tamar spent nearly a decade building cutting-edge AI systems for enterprises and governments at Palantir and Helsing. In these roles, she oversaw the full IP lifecycle of innovation - ensuring that high-value inventions were systematically captured, protected, and commercialised. At both companies, Tamar experienced first-hand the inefficiencies embedded in the traditional patenting process.
She eventually founded Ankar, an AI-native platform for patents and innovation. Ankar serves as the operating system for patents, delivering an end-to-end platform that enables patent professionals to work within a single, unified tech stack rather than fragmented tools.
Tamar began her career in the oil and gas sector and holds a PhD in Game Theory & Microeconomics from Imperial College London, as well as an MSc from HEC Paris.
