Stephen Fitzpatrick is a British entrepreneur and founder focused on building and scaling technology companies that address some of the world’s most significant challenges in energy and mobility.

He founded OVO Energy with the conviction that the UK energy system could be cleaner, smarter, and more customer-centric. Under his leadership, the company grew into one of the country’s leading energy businesses and helped accelerate the shift toward decarbonisation and digital engagement.

Stephen later established Kaluza, a technology platform that uses data and AI to orchestrate distributed energy resources such as electric vehicles, batteries, and heat pumps. Kaluza’s mission is to enable a more flexible, intelligent grid capable of supporting the transition to clean, affordable energy at scale.

He is also the founder of Vertical Aerospace, a UK-based aerospace company developing electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft designed to transform short-haul aviation and reduce the carbon impact of flight.
