Shruti Iyengar is an Investment Manager at Future Planet Capital where she is the Investment Lead for Space-tech investments within the UK Innovation and Science Seed Fund and supports investments on the Blue Ocean Fund. She is currently a mentor and investment expert on the UKSA Fusion Bootcamp programme and continues to actively supports early-stage founders in the sector through similar initiatives. Prior to joining Future Planet Capital, she was an Investor with an early-stage climate tech fund, Sustainable Ventures, where she managed a portfolio of 36 companies and lead their 12 month-long Accelerator programme. Shruti began her career in Singapore where she worked with organizations across Southeast Asia including Governments and corporates, to build out their innovation programmes. She was involved with developing numerous incubator programmes for early-stage deep-tech companies across sectors such as manufacturing, environmental and water technology, and energy. Shruti holds a dual degree in Mathematics and Economics from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and is a Women's Merit Scholar from London Business School's Master's in Finance programme.
