As People Director for the Group Chief Operating Office, Sarah leads the design and delivery of People strategies that underpin the transformation of the Group’s Technology & Data workforce—reshaping skills, capability and culture to enable teams to meet the ever-changing needs and expectations of customers and the organisation. 

Since joining Lloyds Banking Group as a graduate, she has gained deep organisational insight through a diverse set of roles across the branch network, product, change and relationship management, giving her a grounded understanding of how large‑scale workforce change is experienced across the enterprise before moving into the driving seat for this change in her current role. 

Sarah plays a very active role in driving greater diversity in technology roles, both within Lloyds Banking Group and externally—a critical element of creating a modern, future‑ready workforce. 

In 2025, Sarah was recognised as one of the 50 Most Influential Women in Technology in the UK.
