Sam is Chief Strategy Officer for Deloitte’s global Consulting business, a co-founder of Deloitte Digital, and leads Deloitte’s alliance with NVIDIA across EMEA. With 30 years of experience in strategy, technology and transformation, he now focuses on helping organisations turn AI experimentation into scaled enterprise value.

He advises boards, CEOs and executive teams on enterprise AI strategy, operating model change, and the economics of adoption — helping them make practical decisions about where AI will create advantage, how it should be governed, and how to deliver measurable outcomes rather than isolated pilots. His current work spans AI-powered transformation, sovereign AI, physical AI, and agentic platforms, with a particular focus on combining deep industry context with scalable technical delivery. 

Through his work with NVIDIA and related market initiatives, Sam is helping shape how organisations access the next wave of AI capability — from frontier platforms to the broader startup and open-source ecosystem — and how that capability can be deployed responsibly inside complex enterprises. He has been particularly active in framing the commercial and strategic questions that matter most now: trust, data resilience, deployment capability, right-sized model choices, and the shift from input-based pricing towards outcome-led value creation.

Earlier in his career, Sam led major digital and platform transformations across retail, banking, insurance and government, including programmes spanning digital commerce, banking modernisation, customer transformation and public-service digitisation. That delivery background continues to shape his approach: ambitious on strategic direction, but practical about execution, capability-building and the realities of change.

He is a frequent voice in conversations about the UK and Europe’s AI opportunity, particularly where innovation, industry and public services intersect. In recent work, that has included engagement around private equity, government and defence, as well as the role of AI ecosystems in London and across Europe.
