Russ is the co-founder and CEO at twig, an AI-driven biotech company de-risking global supply chains through precision bio-manufacturing. Using their bio:drive AI stack and automated grow:bot wet-lab, twig creates bio-fermented specialty chemicals, brigning stability and innovation to global supply chains. By training AI with biology, they accelerate the delivery of sustainable, high-performance ingredients, starting with their novel suncare active, Mycolux.  Before twig, Russ co-founded cultivated meat pioneer Ivy Farm, and worked as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group.  He holds a D.Phil. in Biomedical Engineering from Oxford and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, having trained with pwc.
