Rita Rinaldo has been with the European Space Agency since 2001. She is currently in charge of the Applications Projects & Studies Division in the Commercialisation, Industry and Competitiveness Directorate. She is responsible for the management of commercial space-based applications projects in the relevant vertical sectors, including transport and mobility, agri-food, energy. She has initiated numerous collaborative actions with non-space stakeholders to foster emergence of innovative space solutions addressing the needs of non-space markets and user communities.
