Peter Gilleece founded Vikela in 2020 and has since successfully led the award-winning company on its journey towards scaling. The Belfast-based company is the first to use 3D printing to mass manufacture body amour, using patent-pending materials and printing processes to deliver lightweight, flexible protection solutions. Peter's background is as a mechanical engineer, with previous experience managing industrial projects for Aston Martin. His area of expertise is in 3D printing, 3D thinking, and manufacturing processes.
