Patrick Arben is a partner at Gowling WLG who advises technology‑led businesses on managing cyber risk, technology disputes and critical IT failures. He works with boards, CIOs and in‑house legal teams to help organisations prepare for, respond to and recover from cyber incidents, balancing legal, regulatory and commercial pressures.

Patrick leads the firm’s IT & Outsourcing Dispute Resolution practice, advising on complex software and systems integration projects, IT and BPO outsourcing, software licensing, data security and data protection. His experience spans incident response, supplier disputes and contractual risk management and helping enterprises build cyber resilience into their governance frameworks.
