A Managing Director for Customer at Faculty, Nijma led a large practice area delivering extensive AI and machine learning work across the public sector, with a particular focus on law enforcement, counter-terrorism and central government. She has led Faculty's work as data science partner to the UK Home Office and National Crime Agency, among others; built the UK’s flagship Defence AI Centre; established the UK's Counter Disinformation Platform; and delivered numerous engagements to detect synthetic media for the UK and International Governments. Prior to joining Faculty, Nijma was responsible for Strategy and Innovation at Accenture with a particular focus on the impact of automation on learning and work, and the practical application of AI and emerging technologies for good.
