Ned is the Managing Director of Helsing UK. Helsing, Europe’s first Defence tech unicorn, was founded in 2021 with the mission to create AI to protect our democracies. Prior to joining Helsing, Ned spent 15 years as a diplomat with His Majesty’s Diplomatic Service. With postings abroad in Afghanistan and Copenhagen, plus a range of London based roles, Ned brings deep expertise in diplomacy, defence, national security and geo-politics.
