Dr. Michelle He is the Co-Founder and COO at Abound, a London-based Fintech. When she moved to the UK, she was unable to take out a loan to help with moving costs despite having a good education, job and salary. This was because the traditional credit scoring system saw her 'credit invisible.' This experience, coupled with over a decade at EY helping banks to improve their credit decisioning lead her to co-found Abound. Abound expands access to lending by using AI and Open Banking to truly understand the unique financial situation of each individual applicant. Michelle has a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the National University of Singapore.
