Michael (he/him), an industry-leading tech executive, joined Strava in January 2024. With a proven track record of leadership across technology, media, and retail sectors, he has a wealth of experience in leading global product, design, engineering, marketing, and business teams for numerous Fortune 100 consumer and technology brands, including Google, Nike, Disney, and NBCUniversal.

Prior to Strava, Michael was a senior executive at Google, building YouTube's Shopping business from zero to a key revenue pillar to the company and its creators. Before that, Michael served as Nike's first digital product leader (responsible for the Nike app, Nike Run Club, Nike Training Club, SNKRS and the Apple Watch Nike+) and later as the general manager of Nike's consumer business in Greater China.
 
His career spans the spectrum from startups to scaling organizations, from founder-led companies to those with several thousand employees and multi-billion-dollar P&Ls. Passionate about building diverse, multifunctional, and high-performing teams that drive positive change, Michael is known for his ability to blend creativity with technology, delivering transformative results that inspire and elevate businesses globally. He has received several patents and awards.
