Matt Thomson is Director of EMEA Startups at AWS, where he leads the team helping Europe's fastest-growing startups innovate on the cloud. Before AWS, Matt spent over a decade as a product and business executive at growth startups in San Francisco. Immediately priot to AWS, Matt was the CPO at Bitly, where he transformed the company into an enterprise SaaS business operating at 400M links/month. Matt has been part of four acquisitions (Bitly→Spectrum, FitStar→Fitbit, Klout→Lithium, CommerceStack→Gart) and currently sits on the board of Grin, Inc. Matt holds an MBA from MIT.
