Baroness Martha Lane Fox of Soho CBE
Martha Lane Fox, Baroness Lane-Fox of Soho CBE, is a British entrepreneur, public servant and digital leader. She is President of the British Chambers of Commerce, Chancellor of the Open University, and a crossbench peer in the House of Lords. Martha currently sits on the boards of Chanel, Multiverse, British Airways, and is a Director of Peers for the Planet. She also chairs Lucky Voice, the karaoke business she co-founded.
Previously, Martha was a non-executive director at Twitter and Marks & Spencer, and chaired the board of WeTransfer. Her influential work in digital transformation led to the creation of the Government Digital Service (GDS) and the launch of GOV.UK, now a global benchmark for digital government. Martha co-founded Lastminute.com in 1998 taking it public in 2000 and to sale in 2005.
