Mark has been a Director of Branston Ltd since 2003 carrying out a number of different roles. He has been responsible for establishing new divisions and leading major change initiatives delivering quality, cost and service level improvements. In that time, Branston has become a leading grower, packer and processor of potatoes in the UK. Today he is accountable for Seed, Agronomy, Varieties and Sustainability for the group.
Alongside this, Mark is also a director of APS Biocontrol, a biotech company producing chemical-free products against disease in arable crops. Prior to that he had a career in the automotive industry, gaining a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He also spent time as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company.
