Laura Connell is a Partner at Atomico, the founder-built European venture capital firm. Laura leads Growth stage investing at Atomico, where she focuses on enterprise software, fintech and AI. Laura has recently led Atomico's investments in DeepL, Corti, and Pelago Health.? 

Prior to joining Atomico in 2022, Laura invested in global publicly listed technology with Marcho Partners. Before this, she was a Principal at Balderton Capital, where she helped to launch the first iteration of their Growth strategy and invested in leading European tech companies including Darktrace, Truecaller, Vestiaire Collective, Lendable and GoCardless. Laura was a Fulbright Scholar and holds an MBA from Harvard University, a Sir William Paddy Scholar at University of Oxford where she read Philosophy and Economics (PPE) and an Assistant Researcher in the Brain Sciences Team in the Department of Medicine at Imperial College.?
