Kavita Reddi
Kavita Reddi Chairs the University of London board of Trustees - a federation of 17 leading global research universities including UCL, Kings College, LSE and the Institute of Cancer Research.
She is also the co-founder of Voxta - an AI startup using voice bots and chatbots to help organisations give advice to users in the UK and India. Before Voxta, she had an award-winning career as a journalist and strategist at the BBC for 15 years. She sits on the board of the UK press regulator, IPSO, and The Conversation UK digital media group. Kavita sees a partnership between academia, industry and government as the only way to make the UK a global leader in AI and drive economic growth. She is active in the education and tech corridor between the UK and India and sees technology as vital to democratise access to education; and is passionate about encouraging young girls to pursue technology careers.
