Dr Katie Baker is Director UK & Ireland at Tandem Health, the clinical AI assistant, where she has built the UK business from the ground up, partnering with NHS Trusts, private hospital groups, primary care networks, and EHR partners to scale Tandem across the country.

With over a decade as a registered NHS GP, Katie has practised medicine while building and scaling businesses in health tech.

Over the past eight years she has held executive and senior roles across six health tech companies -  spanning operations, product, strategy, and commercial functions - from seed-stage startups to Series E, across the UK, US, and Europe. Roles have included CEO, co-founder, SVP Clinical Product, and Medical Director, as well as advisory and consultancy work with health tech ventures and investors. She is a Zinc VC Fellow, supporting early-stage founders in health and life sciences, and combines deep executive operator experience with frontline clinical credibility.

Katie is a member of HealthAI (The Global Agency for Responsible AI in Health) and the WITSEND community of senior women leaders in tech, and previously served in the Royal College of General Practitioners. She studied Neuroscience and Medicine at UCL.
