Joanne Miller (NSO) is National Security Officer at Microsoft UK, with a career spanning senior leadership roles across national security, defence, data, and technology. Prior to Microsoft, she held executive positions within the UK public sector, including Director for Serious and Organised Crime and Chief Data Officer at the Home Office. Her work focuses on the intersection of security, technology and geopolitics, complex risk and resilience challenges in a rapidly changing world.
 
She is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors, holds several non executive board roles, and is a Policy Fellow at the University of Cambridge, where her research examines how national security threats are assessed and prioritised
