Principal Technical Director,
National Cyber Security Centre
Jeremy is the Principal Technical Director for the cryptography group at the UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), responsible for ensuring that we have confidence in the cryptography used within UK government, and for developing guidance and advice on the use of cryptography across the UK. He has a background of research on the boundary between cryptography and engineering.
A strong focus of his role is mitigating the threat to cryptography from future large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computers, and ensuring that government, industry and regulators are equipped with the knowledge they need to migrate to post-quantum cryptography effectively.
