Jenny brings over 30 years’ experience of supporting businesses to access finance and investment. Jenny is an Angel Investor and established the trade body for angel and early-stage investment in the UK in 2012 where she was CEO until 2021 when she became Executive Chair. Jenny has grown the UKBAA from a membership of 18 Angel Groups to an ecosystem across the UK with 120 Angel groups, representing more than 20,000 Angels, together with 40 VC Funds, 12 online platforms, 20 accelerators and a wide range of intermediary and stakeholder organisations at national and regional level.

Jenny has been an active proponent of increasing diversity in earlystage investment. She currently sits on UK Women Angel UK Investment Task Force where she chairs the Angel Investment Sub Committee and supported the launch in 2026 of the new £130m Women Backing Women Fund. She has been a member of the Government’s Innovation Expert Task Force and sits on the London Life Sciences Advisory Board. She is a Women in Innovation Ambassador for Innovate UK and is also an Entrepreneurship Ambassador at Oxford Said Business School

On an international level, Jenny sits on the Investment Board for the UK-India Government Neev II Impact Fund. At European Level she is Founding Director of Business Angels Europe where she works with the European Commission and EIF. She is also an experienced speaker both in the UK and internationally. Jenny was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s New Year Honours 2015 for her services to angel investment and small businesses.
