Irfan Hussain is Group Chief Information Officer at LSEG and leads the Group’s Engineering, AI, and Data efforts globally. He is a member of LSEG’s Executive Committee and Risk Committee.

Since joining LSEG in January 2024, Irfan has led Engineering’s strategic transformation to a faster, more agile, secure, and resilient function at the core of how products are built and operated across the Group.

Prior to his role at LSEG, Irfan was a Partner at Goldman Sachs, most recently as Chief Operating & Strategy Officer for Engineering, and before that as CIO for Asset and Wealth Management. Earlier in his career he served as a senior leader in Global Banking and Markets in New York, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.

Irfan serves on the Board of Trustees for the Horace Mann School in New York and is a member of the University of Texas at Austin Computer Science Advisory Council. He is based in New York.
