Helen Lamprell
As Chief Legal and Transformation Officer, Helen Lamprell heads AVEVA's legal, compliance and external affairs functions. She is also responsible for the transformation office as AVEVA embarks on an ambitious program to become the world's leading industrial software company.Â
She brings two decades of experience providing legal counsel for businesses worldwide. Prior to AVEVA, Helen was General Counsel & External Affairs Director and a member of the board of Vodafone UK, where she chaired the Risk and Compliance committee and sat on the Audit committee. She worked at Linklaters for seven years before joining Vodafone.Â
Helen received an Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2020 New Year's Honors list for services to business and equality. She is also a trustee of the Employer's Initiative on Domestic Abuse (EIDA), a charity dedicated to ensuring that businesses take effective action on domestic abuse. EIDA currently has a membership that extends to 25% of the UK workforce.  For many years, she sat on the UK government's Women's Business Council, promoting women's roles in economic growth and advising companies on best practices for enabling women in the workforce. Helen studied law at Cambridge University.Â
