Hassan Salamony is COO and Co-Founder of 3AI, a pioneering machine learning firm building a foundational intelligence layer for the future of institutional investing. At the forefront of applied AI in finance, 3AI transforms vast, complex financial and market datasets into real-time, stock-level forecasts and deep factor intelligence across global equities.
Hassan leads 3AI’s commercial strategy and global institutional partnerships, working at the intersection of advanced AI research and large-scale capital deployment. He collaborates with leading asset managers, banks, index providers, and ETF issuers to bring next-generation, AI-driven investment solutions into live production. His work is centred on augmenting human judgement with explainable AI - enhancing the quality, consistency, and transparency of decision-making in increasingly complex market environments.
Under his leadership, 3AI has earned notable industry accolades, including “Equity System of the Year” at the 2026 Futures & Options World Awards and “Trading System of the Year” at the 2025 edition of the same awards. In partnership with S&P Dow Jones Indices, the firm also received recognition at the Asia Asset Management Best of the Best Awards 2026 for Best Application of AI in Asset Management – Index Provider, highlighting its expanding role in shaping the future of index construction.
Hassan has played a key role in 3AI’s international expansion, including its strategic engagement with Hong Kong as a gateway to Asia’s dynamic capital markets. His experience offers a rare, practitioner-led perspective on scaling frontier technologies globally - navigating regulatory environments, building institutional trust, and unlocking new growth markets.
Prior to co-founding 3AI, Hassan spent over two decades in senior leadership roles at global investment banks, including Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in London and Director at Barclays. He brings deep expertise in institutional markets and a track record of delivering innovation within highly regulated financial systems. Hassan holds a Distinction in Algorithmic Trading from the University of Oxford and a BSc (Hons) in Management Science from the London School of Economics.
