With over 30 years of experience spanning intelligence, telecommunications, media, and retail, George Mudie is a seasoned technology leader dedicated to driving business transformation and robust security on a global scale. He combines CTO-level expertise in software and cloud solutions with CISO-level knowledge of cybersecurity, making him a trusted leader in the field.
George has spearheaded solutions for some of the UK’s most secure environments and led the delivery of innovative products for renowned brands. Recently, he completed a comprehensive cybersecurity transformation (covering GRC, incident response, fraud, payments, and identity) at ASOS, a leading global online fashion retailer.
Currently, as CTO at H&M, George is playing a pivotal role in the technology and cybersecurity transformation of the global fashion powerhouse and accelerating the adoption of innovative technology.
George holds a BSc in Mathematical Sciences and a Postgraduate Diploma in IT from the University of the West of Scotland. He also earned an Executive Certificate in Strategy & Innovation from MIT Sloan and Executive Finance certificate from the London Business School. A prolific innovator, George is the holder of multiple security-related patents and contributes to advisory groups for the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and the National Crime Agency (NCA). He is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Information Security.
