Estelle Lloyd is a seasoned tech entrepreneur and business leader with two decades of experience founding, scaling, and successfully exiting high-growth technology companies.

She began her career in venture capital and private equity in New York, developing deep expertise in fundraising, deal structuring, and growth strategy. After earning her MBA from Columbia Business School, Estelle co-founded VB Research in 2005, where she served as CEO for seven years. Under her leadership, the company expanded across global markets and revenue streams before being acquired by Centaur Media Plc.

In 2015, Estelle co-founded Macademia, an edtech company delivering educational content via global TV channels and streaming platforms. With distribution across 100+ premium platforms and blue-chip partners and a reach of over 250 million families worldwide, Macademia became a leading force in digital learning before its acquisition by Cosmo Blue Private Equity in 2024.

Beyond her ventures, Estelle is an active investor and mentor to early-stage entrepreneurs. She currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at fintech startup FinalRentals Ltd, a scout for Ada Ventures, and is a committed advocate for children’s welfare through her long-term support of the NSPCC.

Recognised for her decisive leadership and ability to scale tech-driven businesses, Estelle brings together operational, financial, and entrepreneurial expertise with a strong track record in B2B SaaS, software development, and product innovation. Her achievements have been acknowledged with numerous industry awards.

Originally from France, Estelle now lives in London with her husband and three daughters.
