Emma Wright is a Partner and leads the tech, digital and data team at law firm Harbottle & Lewis where she works with the tech sector supporting their legal needs and has particular expertise in AI, cyber and digital infrastructure. â Emma is the co-founder of the Interparliamentary Forum on Emerging Technologies, a not for profit that has built a network of legislators from over 30 countries looking at the regulation of AI and works with Unesco on the implementation of AI and Ethics.â Emma won the Cog X Global Impact Award in 2023 and is a UNESCO Global Expert on AI and Ethics.â Emma is also the co-founder of and spear headed the investHER movement that achieved the reversal in the Budget of the Financial Promotion Order legislation after just 6 weeks and gained the support of senior female voices in industry and tech including Grace Beverley, Deborah Meadon and Mary Portas â - the law is key to the angel and founder ecosystem and the changes disproportionately impacted women when they took effect on 31 January this year.
