Recognised for her expertise in AI Literacy and AI Ethics, Elena is dedicated to equipping the next generation with skills to address complex global challenges. Her leadership in embedding AI education into broader societal frameworks has fostered partnerships with FTSE 100 companies and governments worldwide, promoting diverse perspectives in tech.
Elena’s work in AI draws upon her decade-long experience as a consultant in international development, where she focused on poverty reduction and sustainable livelihoods across regions like Central Asia, the Balkans, and Ethiopia. Partnering with organisations such as the British Council, UNDP, and the World Bank, she developed impactful community solutions.
Currently serving as a Microsoft Regional Director, Elena is recognised for her cross-platform expertise, thought leadership, and commitment to actionable outcomes. Her prior role on the Education Task Force of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Artificial Intelligence provided her with a platform to influence policy development for AI education, positioning her as a trusted advocate for a future-ready workforce.
