Dr. Kerstin Papenfuss is the CEO of Big Picture Bio, bringing over 15 years of expertise in translating complex scientific breakthroughs into scalable commercial enterprises. She previously served as Director of Pharma at Deep Science Ventures, where she built the pharma sector from the ground up and co-founded 12 frontier biotech and therapeutic companies. Kerstin holds a PhD in Cancer Immunology from Imperial College London and an Executive MBA from Bayes Business School. A recognized leader in science-based innovation, she was recently honored as a 2026 Rising Star by One Nucleus.
