As Executive Director, Performance Technology & Systems, Dan is responsible for delivering the tools, platforms and data capabilities that have a direct and measurable impact on car performance. His focus is on turning technology into a competitive advantage by tightly integrating factory, track and simulation systems to enable faster, more informed performance decisions to supercharge McLaren’s quest for championships.

McLaren Racing is known worldwide for its Formula 1 programme. Here, technology plays a crucial part in helping the team design, build, and race their cars to stay competitive in every season of Formula 1. Also, McLaren participates in other racing events such as F1 Academy, IndyCar and F1 Sim Racing. In all these series, technology helps McLaren stay ahead of its challengers and compete at the pinnacle of motorsport.

Dan handles everything related to technology, whether it's on or off the racetrack. This includes everything from the tech infrastructure at the factory to bespoke systems that McLaren uses in races all over the world.

Before joining McLaren, Dan spent 10 years working for a UK Government contractor, providing IT services to the Armed Forces. During this time, he held several senior service management positions.
