Dan Cobley

Dan’s career includes a dot.com bubble failure, running marketing for CapitalOne Europe and various roles at Google ending up as the head of Google UK and Ireland.
In 2014 he left Google to become a fintech entrepreneur, co-founding ClearScore and Salary Finance.
He is now a full time angel investor, advisor and NED, focusing mostly on fintech, and commerce-tech/mar-tech, investing in early stage UK companies and trying to over-index on minority founders. He has been on the BBC’s Tomorrow’s World (as an ‘expert’), on The Apprentice (as a judge) and on the TED stage.
Dan is the father of two boys 👨👨👧👦, an occasional baker 🧁 and a keen sportsman 🏃🏻♂️.
He is part way through cycling from London to Sydney 🇬🇧🚲🇦🇺.
