Mary-Ann Russon is a veteran technology and science journalist with more than 16 years' experience. Her work has been nominated and shortlisted for several awards, including the Technology Journalism Award at the British Journalism Awards, the American Association for the Advancement of Science Awards, Digital Writer of the Year at The Drum Online Media Awards and Technology Journalist of the Year at the UK Tech Awards.
She was formerly a broadcast journalist for BBC News Online, Senior Technology and Science Reporter at International Business Times UK, Deputy Editor of Mobile Europe, Content Manager of Techworld.com and Computerworld UK, and has written for and appeared on BBC Tech Tent, BBC Outside Source, BBC The Newsroom, Times Radio, TRT World, The Economist, Iran International TV, Hack & Craft News, European Communications, PC Advisor, Macworld UK, Digital Arts, iPad & iPhone User, TotalFilm, NEO Magazine and the Bournemouth Daily Echo in the UK. In Singapore, she was Editor of Asian MobileNews and wrote for The Straits Times, TODAY, and FiRST – Asia's Premier Movie Magazine.
