Karen Rudich

Karen has 20 years’ experience in the investment banking sector and is known for identifying opportunities to make more money, denoting the 10,000+ things that need to happen in order to deliver that ambition and landing the teams, programmes and structures in place to see a bottom-line P&L impact.

She has led large-scale transformation programmes at UBS, BNP Paribas, HSBC, Santander, Barclays and Lloyds. Karen’s ability to bring customer needs, strategic commercial thinking and pragmatism to the delivery table in the complex world of banking earned her the reputation that enabled her to open her own start-up. In 2013 she became Founder & CEO of a challenger firm focussing on speedy P&L-driving transformations and technology integration for top tier banks and cutting-edge FinTech firms, appearing on “Top 10 to watch” lists.

Karen holds an MBA and started her career in the Canadian chemical engineering industry before moving to the UK where she helped build a dot.com tech business that listed on AIM. Capitalising on that passion for change, Karen is now CEO and Co-founder at ELEMENTRAYb, whose goal is to help drive economic growth through the use of ML & AI.  Eb’s financial risk management platform sherloc helps SMEs reduce the risk of loss and improve productivity in today’s economic turmoil.

Karen is also an Angel investor and speaks about STEM and Entrepreneurship to students in schools. She is a fierce promoter of inclusion and diversity.
