Founding Partner, Haylo Ventures

Claire Valoti has spent over 24 years at the cutting edge of the tech and media industries. Most recently, she co-founded Haylo Ventures, a venture operator specialising in deep tech, with a focus on accelerating the commercialisation of startups.

Throughout her career, Claire has consistently demonstrated an ability to rapidly build and scale businesses while fostering sustainable and diversified business models. In her previous role as Vice President for Snap’s EMEA region, she led the company’s remarkable growth, driving significant revenue increases and expanding Snap’s operations across the region.

Before joining Snap, Claire served as Director of Partnerships at Facebook, where she played a pivotal role in helping clients leverage social media to enhance customer engagement. Her leadership in director-level roles at Weve, O2 Media, and Telefonica further cemented her reputation for steering media businesses to success.

Claire’s career began at Mindshare, part of the WPP Group, where she pioneered the company’s digital function, helping brands embrace digital channels to better connect with customers. Her journey at Mindshare culminated in her appointment as Head of Digital Display and Mobile.

Beyond her corporate achievements, Claire is a highly active board member. She currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Genius Sports and Howbout, a social planning app. She is also a Trustee for the charity Founders4Schools and an avid angel investor, with a portfolio of over 25 startups alongside her husband, Amir Nooriala.

Claire’s leadership and influence have earned her numerous accolades. In 2012, Business Insider named her one of the Most Powerful Women in Advertising. In 2016, she was featured in The Drum Digerati as one of the top 25 most influential individuals in UK digital. By 2019, Business Insider recognised her as one of the most important and impactful women shaping British technology.
