Charlotte Deane is Executive Chair of EPSRC and Professor of Statistics at the University of Oxford. She serves as Senior Responsible Owner for multiple UKRI programmes, including AI, Quantum, Cyber, Semiconductors, Advanced Connectivity Technologies, Trusted Research and Innovation, Digital Research Infrastructure and National Security and Defence. She also co-founded Dalton Tx and leads the Oxford Protein Informatics Group, applying AI and computation to biological and drug discovery challenges. She co-leads OpenBind, a major UK initiative to advance data driven drug discovery.
