Charlie is the Chief Data and Information Officer at the Met Office and also the SRO for SC2020+ GMPP that is about transitioning supercomputing into the cloud with Microsoft. He is delivering a new model for scientific supercomputing accounting for the new opportunities afforded by AI.  The Met Office ingests, generates, manipulates, and distributes very high scale and fast-moving 'big data', as well as developing and delivering a large variety of products, applications and services that use both data and expert guidance and advice to help you make better decisions to stay safe and thrive.
