Dr. Chad Edwards is the Co-Founder and CEO of CuspAI, a frontier lab using AI to accelerate materials discovery. A deep-tech builder working at the intersection of advanced research and commercial scale, he holds a PhD in Nuclear Fission and Computational Quantum Chemistry and an MBA.

Previously, Chad was a commercial leader at Cambridge Quantum, helping scale the firm and navigate its merger with Honeywell Quantum Solutions to form Quantinuum (Nasdaq: QNT). Before that, he worked at Google Quantum AI and BASF.

At CuspAI, Chad has raised over $200M from NEA, Temasek and NVIDIA’s NVentures, among others. The company’s goal is to build an autonomous engine that solves planetary-scale physical AI challenges across semiconductors, energy, and climate.
