I am a 34y.o. Ukrainian surgeon and a third-generation clinician with over 13 years of experience in orthopedics. My passion is arthroscopy – minimally invasive joint surgery. I have found my call as medical innovator inventing and prototyping a new generation of orthopedic devices – RESECTOR. 

In 2022 I founded the Ukrainian manufactory company «GMD» while simultaneously running a PHD and surgery clinical trial where the device in now certificated and successfully implemented to a surgery theatre. After securing a patent, I founded «GMD-R» Ltd, a UK company based in Nexus (Leeds), in 2024 and built a network of NHS clinical and regulatory partners. 

Having deep understanding of the device at every level - the clinical need, the surgical technique, the engineering constraints, the regulatory requirements and the commercial proposition - my aim is to deliver this innovation to orthopedic surgeons around the world.
