Tom Lucas graduated from Cambridge University in 1996 with a degree in Social and Political Science and a full blue for boxing. He has spent the best part of the last thirty years in advertising and marketing, with a brief stint in strategy consulting
Tom started his career at top-flight London creative agencies, before moving client-side at the age of 30 and spending the next decade as a CMO within broadcasting and telcos. His focus has been on creating and launching new products and services.
At the end of the noughties, he moved to Vodafone where he ran global media across 21 markets and was responsible for optimising over €700m of annual marketing investment. Tom joined Squadron as a Partner in 2018 and his broad experience has equipped him well for the many challenges facing growth businesses.
