Ashwin Prasad is UK CEO at Tesco, having taken up the role in June 2025. He joined Tesco in 2010 and has held a number of senior commercial and product roles across the business, including Chief Product Officer and Group Chief Commercial Officer. In these roles, he has helped shape Tesco’s product, customer and trading strategy, working across areas including innovation, supply chains, value and the development of Tesco’s commercial offer.

Before joining Tesco, Ashwin held commercial roles at Mars and BOC. As UK CEO, he is responsible for leading Tesco’s UK business and continuing its focus on serving customers, supporting suppliers and strengthening the resilience of the UK food system.
