Andrew Western was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department of Work and Pensions on 9 July 2024. Andrew Western is the Labour MP for Stretford and Urmston and has been an MP continually since 15 December 2022. As the Minister for Transformation, his portfolio covers fraud, error and debt, digital, AI and Service Modernisation, Devolution (National), international, customer experience, Deputy for Ministers of State/Legislation in Parliament, arm’s length bodies: Industrial Injuries Advisory Council (IIAC) and the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR).
