Andrei Brasoveanu
Andrei joined Accel in 2014 and works with teams in the areas of cybersecurity, AI, enterprise software, developer-oriented software, open source, financial services, and Web3/crypto.
Andrei has led Accel’s investments in Checkly, Conduktor, Corsa, Ermetic (acquired by Tenable), Filigran, Genesis, Humio (acquired by CrowdStrike), Komodor, Legion, Lightdash, Lightrun, Nansen, Oasis Security, Polar, Rasa, Raycast, Sky Mavis, Sorare, Tenderly, Tessian (acquired by Proofpoint), Tracebit, Vega, and Viso. He has also helped lead and worked closely with Carto, Celonis, Instana (acquired by IBM), Monzo, Personio, and UiPath.
Prior to Accel, Andrei spent a decade in the US and worked with Foundation Capital and KCG/Virtu, the largest equities high-frequency trading firm in the US. Previously, he helped build an algorithmic trading start-up on Wall Street focused on commodity futures.
Andrei hails from Romania. He holds an AB summa cum laude in Mathematics from Princeton and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
