Ammar Akhtar is the Founder and CEO of Finalrentals which is based in Cardiff. United Kindgom a car rental brand and a digital eco system, currently operating in 32 countries and expanding. In 2023 alone the brand has expanded to 14 countries under the leadership of Ammar. He is currently expanding his dream and his organization through his Cardiff HQ and the company is now backed and funded by DevBanc of Wales and Fuel Ventures and within its first two years of working in Wales. The company has won the Fintech Startup of the year award by Fintech Wales in 2022-2023 and also won the insider magazine's rising star award as well as London daily news 40 under 40. Making a global impact from Wales to the world. Finalrentals is also the winner of the prestigious Gulf Capital MEED Award for its contribution to the digital car rental eco system the Gulf Region. The founder is also the winner of prestigious Poland Prize Award by Techseed by ministry of economic development in Gdansk Poland. The company also won the Seamless Middle East Expo2020 Dubai Award for best in design and innovation. Ammar's dream is to make car rental reservations as easy as renting a movie from Netflix or ordering food from Deliveroo.
